Progress Reports & Parent Conferences
Formal report cards for grades 1-8 are issued four times per year, usually one week after the marking period closes. Please check our calendar for the specific dates.

We feel strongly that it is important that parents and teachers work together as partners in education. Therefore, the first and third reports will not be sent home via the students, but will be issued only during parent conferences in November and April.

Interim progress reports for all students in grades 1-8 are issued at the five-week interval between formal reports. These reports are merely an indication of how your child is doing at this time. These do not become the final quarter grade. Some at-risk students may be put on a more frequent monitoring system that must be strictly supervised by both parents and teachers.

Kindergarten students receive a specially designed progress report in January, April and June. Parent conferences are held twice a year, once in November and once in April.

Parents are encouraged to keep in frequent contact with their child’s teacher throughout the year. Please do not hesitate to call the office to set up an appointment.
