•    TV Coverage – Emergency closings will be announced over the following the following television networks: NBC, ABC and CBS.

•    Please be sure to listen if weather conditions seem to warrant a school closing.

•    If an emergency arises while school is in session and it is necessary to close the school, an announcement will be made over the stations listed above. In addition, we will rely on our emergency telephone calling system to alert all parents.

•    It is essential that you set up an emergency procedure with your child if school closes unexpectedly. Please make sure your child knows where to go and what to do if you are not home in such an emergency. Where should your child go if you are not at home? How will the child notify you that he/she is safe?
