Dorset Parent Volunteers
The Dorset Parent Volunteers (DPV) is a group of parents representing all grades, working together to build a strong school community. Our goals are:
  • To support academic and extra curricular programs.
  • To create a strong school community.
  • To improve school-home-community communication.
  • To offer and implement practical solutions to challenges facing our school community.

DPV carries out many successful events including a clothing drive, a gift-wrap sale, a ski and sport sale, and a community block party. DPV sponsors the following: ELF (Environmental Learning for the Future), music program, graduation, playground improvements, hot lunch, teacher appreciation day, field trips, visiting authors, art program and more. Funds raised by DPV help to purchase classroom materials. DPV meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the school library. All parents, teachers and community members are welcome.
